BIG CHANGE IN 2013 – Private studio, Kings Ave and Saved….

In an effort to finally realize a longtime goal, on the 1st of January 2013 I will be leaving Saved Tattoo to begin working in a private studio, a private place where I can give each client my undivided attention and focus completely on the creative process at hand. I am extremely excited about this development.

Running a successful tattoo shop has been a great experience but I feel that it simply isn’t for me. My interest lies exclusively in tattooing and art making. Developing my abilities and skills in that direction as much as I possibly can. I think Saved deserves someone at the helm that will not only maintain the shop but that has the time and energy to grow it and see it flourish. That is why I am very happy to announce that STEPHANIE TAMEZ will be taking my place as co-owner of Saved and she will be starting a new partnership with Scott Campbell. I’m excited to see how she puts her own spin on being THE BOSS!!!!!

My new PRIVATE STUDIO is 45 minutes from New York City and literally across the street from the Metro-North train stop coming from Grand Central Terminal. In an effort to not leave any of my long time clients hanging I will be making very frequent guest visits to KINGS AVENUE TATTOO in Manhattan and of course SAVED TATTOO in Brooklyn. This way I can accommodate my in-progress clients as well as preventing myself from some sort of self inflicted isolation. I’m looking forward to this new opportunity to work with my old friend Mike Rubendall as well as Grez and their whole crew in the city.

CLIENTS WHO ARE ALREADY IN-PROGRESS GET PRIORITY WHEN I’M GUESTING IN THE CITY. After they are accommodated then NEW CLIENTS can fill the remaining spots. Those of you that want to cut the wait time down considerably can come up to the PRIVATE STUDIO. It’s an easy ride to a very beautiful part of Westchester NY.

This new positioning will give me the freedom and flexibility to focus on my clients, increase my creative potential, work periodically with my friends at Saved and Kings Ave and spend more time with my family at home. A free agent pursuing a new creative vision.

Again, this happens January 1st 2013. If you have an appointment with me at Saved in 2012 nothing changes. It is still valid. Thank you. -Chris
